Consumer Complaint: I sent a {$93000.00} payment to Navient to pay off my student loan. I wrote my account number on the check and submitted the check in with the payment form to the payment address on their website which was XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX Pennsylvania. I sent the check certified mail and they signed receipt for the check on XX/XX/XXXX. They cashed a check on XX/XX/XXXX and did not credit my account. It is now been more than a week since theyve cashed the check and they said they need to do more research to link the check to my account ( my stepfather wrote the check for me, but it had my name and account number on it ). Ive spent several hours on the phone with them. They have almost {$95000.00} of my stepfathers money and have not credited my account. It is causing exceptional stress on all of us. Navient just says that the check is in suspension mode. They are asking for proof that the check cleared. I uploaded a screenshot of the bank account showing the check number and cleared amount and date two days ago and its still not resolved.
