Consumer Complaint: Hello, This complaint is about Re-Aged XXXX XXXX/XXXX account.
I signed up for an XXXX XXXX store card sometime in XX/XX/XXXX. I bought a house and move in XX/XX/XXXX. At this time, I called XXXX XXXX and asked them to update my address. However, I think the representative forgot to update the system or for some reason, XXXX XXXX kept sending bills to my previous address so I never received them. I rarely used my XXXX XXXX card so didn’t realize I was missing a bill from XXXX XXXX. Instead of ing me by any other method such as a phone call or an email about this unpaid bill, XXXX XXXX decided to close my account and reported this on my credit report. Initially, the Date of First Delinquency of this account was XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX, since at that time I missed my first payment. However, in my recent credit report, this date has been changed to XX/XX/XXXX. and XXXX XXXX keeps reporting it every few year. This is a malpractice under Section 623 ( 5 ) ( A ).

I received a call from XXXX sometime in XX/XX/XXXX about this debt, and I agreed to pay it off if they would take it off my credit report. The agent agreed to it, so I paid the amount with an interest. However, instead of removing this account from my credit report, XXXX XXXX re-aged the debt and keeps reporting it on my credit report every few years. The original debt/bill was only for {$48.00} dollars. I paid over {$58.00} with an interest.
