Consumer Complaint: On XXXX my wife received several calls from this number. They left messages regarding a XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX whom we do not know. They then started calling my number so i picked up and tried to find out what they wanted. They asked if my mame was XXXX XXXX … no idea how they got my info since ive never done business with them. Asked me if i knew this gentleman which i do not. And then proceeded to hamg up. I called back curious as to why they were calling us amd they said it was for location purposes for finding this gentleman. This is a collections agency called pioneer credit recovery and apparently and they are trying to locate someone because I was a ” neighbor ” at one time. This is absolutely unacceptable calling random people who have never dobe business with them to try and locate someone else to recover debt.
